This morning, everyone woke up around 9:00am! We got to enjoy sleeping in for the long day ahead of us! Everyone had a relaxing morning and made their own meals for breakfast. Around noon, we left to Sigatoka, a city around an hour-and-a-half away from Pacific Harbour. On the road trip there, I looked out the window to see the beautiful mountains and hills filled with the greenest trees and blossoming orange flowers. The vallies looked like an ocean of deep greenery and beautiful nature.
We arrived and everyone shopped at Tappoo's for souvenirs. I used this time to find a gift for 6 of my sisters. My family is very big and they're all expecting souvenirs from my gorgeous adventure to Fiji! After Tappoo's, we went to Sigatoka National Park, where the infamous sand dunes are. We hiked to the beach, observing breathtaking views and taking LOTS of photos. After the quiet road trip home, we freshened up for dinner. We went to the Water's Edge in the Art's Village for Laura's birthday! With our full bellies, we came home and surprised Laura with a cake, a giant card we homemade for her and sang happy birthday! Overall, a very beautiful day we all got to share with one another, and I look forward to tomorrow and the next day and the next!
