Snorkeling

Wednesday, June 29, 2022

Today we left Pacuare Reserve and took a boat to our van that would take us to Cahuita National Park for our first time in the water all trip. We went snorkeling after a quick swim test and a quick review over the basics of snorkeling. We saw several different species of colorful (and not) fish, as well as a southern stingray and a devil ray. After snorkeling and a quick fruit snack break, we took the same boat back to the van, which then took us to our house, Casa Calatea. Unfortunately, our van was not able to make it up the hill, so, we had to walk the rest of the way to the house. After a short break and room assignments, we had our midterm review and a journal prompt to help us prepare for our midterm tomorrow. We had free time until dinner and then ended the day by sharing our glums and glows and playing dominoes. – Belle
