The morning began early for some of the group, with a 6:45 core workout on the beach. I, myself, planned to be a part of this but subconsciously turned off my alarm as I was sleeping. Breakfast was at 8:00 and delicious as always; with our typical, tropical, morning smoothie, and toast with Curaçao Nutella. Directly after teeth-brushing and getting dressed for the day was Lesson 3, where we learned about marine life origins, trophic levels, and primary production. Did you know that we are currently in our 6th mass extinction? That’s what I call problematic! We continued the day with a scuba sesh, kayaking through mangroves, and chill time to work on our first journal entry. Our forth Curaçao dinner of rice and stoba was nutrient filled and heart-filling. The night ended with some team bonding activities on the porch, listening to the joyful sound of Dreams. If you know, you know. If you don’t, you don’t.
